To celebrate World Kindness Day on 13 November 2017, People United has given away ten neon artworks to people and causes across the UK. Including us!

We applied to People United with a description of how we would use our ‘be kind’ sign on World Kindness Day and the kindness challenge we would give ourselves. Our office at London Bridge and the surrounding Borough community has seen quite a bit of turmoil this year - but the local Bankside community has rallied.

Our 'be kind' sign will be suspended in one of our office windows in the Menier Chocolate factory on Southwark Street. The street sees a lot of traffic with between 1,500-2,500 cars and people passing every hour.

We want to use our 'be kind' sign to offer a small reminder to the thousands of people who pass our window that this is the kind of place and community where we look after each other.

Our kindness challenge is to thank you: all of our supporters, care partners, artists, donors and colleagues - for your hard work and generous support. We’ll also be thanking the community around us, who support us every day.
