Our friends at Imperial Health Charity are celebrating the NHS 70th anniversary with a new print portfolio featuring seven leading international artists.

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of one of the country’s best-loved institutions, seven leading international artists have produced limited edition prints to raise funds to support some of London’s busiest hospitals.

The print portfolio features works by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller and renowned pop artist Peter Blake, alongside Tom Hammick, Mona Hatoum, David Mach, Elizabeth Magill and Chris Orr.

The prints will launch tonight (04 July 2018) at Purdy Hicks Gallery, London. They will be available for purchase at the launch this evening, and then afterwards online through CCA Galleries.

What would we do without the NHS? The way we look after each other in this truly national institution is something we can be rightly proud of in the UK. We can be proud too of art and how it plays a vital role in healthcare…

An exhibition of the prints will tour St Mary’s, Charing Cross and Hammersmith hospitals over the summer, while another 10 sets will be offered free to hospitals in the London Hospitals Arts Network.
