Paintings in Hospitals is looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Development professional with at least two years’ experience of writing funding proposals, applying for grants, and liaising with a range of trusts and foundations...

  • Contract: 18 months, initial term – with the opportunity to extend
  • Salary: £23,500 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week (Full time). Part-time applications (2 days/week min) also welcome.
  • Location: London SE1

Paintings in Hospitals has pioneered the use of visual arts in health and social care over the past six decades. Our mission is to transform the UK's health by using world-class art to inspire hope and boost wellbeing for patients, carers and communities.

The successful candidate will build on this, and grow our reach, becoming a vital member of the Paintings in Hospitals team. Following recent fundraising successes, and working closely with the Director, you will deliver on grant fundraising as part of our 60th anniversary campaign - and help to formulate future strategies for 2020 and beyond.

With outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a compelling writing style, you will author new cases for support and collaborate with colleagues to pitch new and existing projects to grantmakers.

With scope for professional development across several areas, you will be ambitious and proactively seek new opportunities. You will be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and have the ability to clearly convey ideas and enthusiasm to a range of current and future funders.
