We're working on an ambitious project to write new interpretation labels for our entire collection (4,000+ artworks). We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and engaging interpretation writer.

Working closely with the Head of Collection, Loans & Programming, and the National Loans Coordinator, the post-holder will play a fundamental role in the realisation of the project. The Interpretation Project Coordinator will help audiences to engage with the Paintings in Hospitals collection and will oversee the production of labels to inspire wellbeing. A passionate communicator, you will champion better access to the collection through writing new interpretation.

With a track record of achieving targets, you will be able to make the most of your time on your mission to make the collection more accessible. You will be responsible for supervising Interpretation Volunteers and the allocation of their work, as well as ensuring the accuracy of the labels written by the volunteer team.

Based at the Menier Chocolate Factory, London, it is expected that the post-holder will work either three hours a week for six hours every fortnight.
