Paintings in Hospitals is seeking an experienced and motivated Freelance Commissioner to join our team.

About the role:

Paintings in Hospitals is in the first year of a three-year Business Plan. New objectives for the charity include the support and design of high-quality arts interventions through working closely with NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups and other health and social care providers facilitating partner working and actively taking part in the Social Prescribing agenda.

The Commissioner will enable and support Paintings in Hospitals’ aspirations to engage with social prescribing and the new WHO 2019 agenda using arts to improve health and wellbeing. The Commissioner will do this through building relationships with CCGs and identifying possible funding streams to enable Paintings in Hospitals’ programmes and activities to achieve set financial targets and extend the charity’s reach.
