At Paintings in Hospitals, we work strategically with hundreds of NHS trusts and other health and social care providers across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

We are a Strategic Alliance Member of the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance, and a member of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), National Voices, and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).

We are the health partner of the Arts Council Collection. We co-wrote CQC guidance on art in healthcare sites and are currently advising a number of Collection Managers and Facilities teams on their visual art programmes and collections.

With nearly 60 years of experience, we are experts in improving the care environment for the benefit of patients, service users and care staff. Alongside our programmes, we can provide curatorial, strategic planning, project management and collection management services for CCGs, ACOs, NHS Trusts, social care providers, care homes and other third sector organisations working to improve health and wellbeing.

In some cases, we attract grant funding to deliver strategic support and, in others, we can arrange support by individual negotiation. As a charity, we subsidise our services in this way to ensure everything is delivered at the lowest possible not-for-profit rates. This can be an important return on investment as part of a wider arts strategy for regional health and social care providers.
