We are thrilled to be able to share the news that Paintings in Hospitals will be working with the Wallace Collection to present Works Like People II, an exhibition of drawings, paintings and furniture by acclaimed contemporary artist Tom Ellis.

The Wallace Collection is considered one of the finest collections of art in Europe and is home to one of the most jaw-dropping collections of French 18th-century paintings, furniture, porcelain and Old Master paintings anywhere in the world. Tom Ellis, a celebrated British artist, has exhibited widely in London, Europe and across the globe.

Displayed in four GP surgeries and waiting rooms in contrasting areas of London, Works Like People II will be both an extension of, and prelude to, Tom’s upcoming exhibition The Middle at Hertford House, home of the Wallace Collection.

The exhibition will be created in response to the unique and diverse environments of GP practices and has been specifically conceived with primary care settings in mind, to enhance the care environment, and improve patient and staff wellbeing. To help patients and staff engage with the display, the exhibition will be accompanied by new interpretation and a programme of creative activities.
