We invite you to share your stories about Paintings in Hospitals and the difference art has made to your life and the lives of those around you.

Studies show that art can help us stay well and aid our recovery from illness and injury. But we want to provide a platform for people to hear stories directly from our diverse community of artists, arts professionals, health professionals, museum and gallery professionals, Patrons, patients, carers, and beyond.

We're calling for blogs and videos for our ‘60 Years, 60 Voices’ series, celebrating Paintings in Hospitals' 60th anniversary in 2019. We want to gather big ideas and stories about arts and health from your personal experience that will inspire people to live and work differently.

What is ‘60 Years, 60 Voices’?

  • ‘60 Years, 60 Voices’ is a series of 60 blogs (vlogs will also be considered) marking 60 years since Paintings in Hospitals’ official founding in 1959.

  • 60 blogs from 60 guest contributors will be published on a weekly basis on the Paintings in Hospitals website and social media from January 2019.

  • You’ll be adding your voice to 59 other valued contributors from a range of backgrounds, experiences and fields in a vital conversation about the future of arts and health.

  • ’60 Voices’ will shine a light on our arts and health community. A community that is brilliant, ambitious, and determined to make a difference to the nation’s wellbeing.
