Paintings in Hospitals partnered with the Arts Council Collection to bring a new exhibition to hospitals across South West England...

Rooted in the Landscape explored the relationship between art, wellbeing and the natural environment. The exhibition featured renowned artists, including Andy Goldsworthy, Marc Quinn, and Turner Prize-nominated Janice Kerbel.

Through painting, photography and printmaking, Rooted in the Landscape explored our relationship with the rural environment and asked us to consider how it influences our health and wellbeing.

The exhibition was specifically designed for healthcare settings and aimed to enhance patient access to museum-quality contemporary art.

Rooted in the Landscape toured hospitals across the South West of England and was on display at Dorset County Hospital,Yeovil District Hospital, Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton), and Southmead Hospital (Bristol).
