Our new touring exhibition in collaboration with the Arts Council Collection will open for a special preview week in June, featuring works by artists such as Marc Quinn, Keith Vaughan and Turner Prize-nominated Janice Kerbel.

Launching on the 05 June 2018, Rooted in the Landscape will open for a special preview week at the Menier Gallery, London. The launch will feature exclusive additional artworks from the Paintings in Hospitals collection, alongside the selected works from the Arts Council Collection. The launch will coincide with Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2018.

Featuring artists such as Andy Goldsworthy, Marc Quinn, Janice KerbelHoward Hodgkin, Keith Vaughan, and Barry Flanagan, the exhibition is specifically designed for healthcare settings and to enhance patients’ access to art normally only reachable by visiting major art galleries.

The exhibition is open to everyone and free to enter. 

The launch of the Rooted in the Landscape will be followed by a symposium at Kings College London, where Paintings in Hospitals will lead discussions on research demonstrating the positive influence representations of landscape have on health and wellbeing. Find out more about the symposium here.
