Paintings in Hospitals is delighted to announce a new partnership to bring the Jerwood Collection to patients and carers.

The Jerwood Collection is a privately-owned collection of Modern and Contemporary British art that offers public access to its works to enhance the understanding and enjoyment of this period of art.

Holding just under 300 works the collection is made accessible through loans to national and international institutions, as well as through inclusion on a number of digital platforms.

Jerwood Collection announces partnership with Paintings in Hospitals

The official announcement of our partnership with Jerwood Collection at a recent celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Jerwood Gallery at the Natural History Museum.

Paintings in Hospitals is thrilled to be working in partnership with Jerwood Collection to bring artworks from their collection to a care site in 2020.

Lara Wardle, Director of Jerwood Collection, said:

I am delighted that Jerwood Collection will be embarking on a partnership with Paintings in Hospitals during their important 60th anniversary year. I’m a great admirer of the work that Paintings in Hospitals do, having seen first-hand how art can enrich people’s lives, particularly in care environments.

We will be announcing the full details of our collaborative project soon. If you would like to be among the first to know, make sure you sign up below to receive our email newsletter.
