Donating or loaning artworks to the Paintings in Hospitals Collection

Paintings in Hospitals has been established for 45 years and is a unique collection which continues to grow each year. The charity is very grateful for the generosity of artists and collectors willing to donate or loan in order to meet the demand for artwork. The Collection is divided into three parts:

  1. Main Collection: paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, mixed media and textile pieces available for hospitals to borrow for a small rental fee which contributes to the insurance and maintenance of the artworks.
  2. Prints for Hospices: original artists prints (not reproductions) available on free loan to hospices (maximum of 10 per hospice).
  3. Children's Collection: artworks that are appropriate for display in an environment for the younger patient which can vary from the care of babies to adolescents.
