By supporting the work of Paintings in Hospitals you will be making a positive difference to the healthcare environment experienced by millions of people each year throughout the UK and Ireland. There are many ways in which you can help Paintings in Hospitals either through your local branch or by contacting our head office.

You may like to help Paintings in Hospitals by contributing in one or more of the following ways:

Individual Donation By joining the scheme as a hospital or making a donation to PiH you will be helping to build the collection for the future, giving other hospitals the opportunity to benefit from the scheme in years to come.

• £50 will provide security fixings and information labels for 20 pictures
• £100 will cover the cost of refurbishing one of the pictures from the collection in need of cleaning and reframing.
• £250 will enable us to purchase a limited edition print for the collection
• £500+ will enable us to purchase a new painting for the collection

Join the Scheme By joining the scheme as a hospital or making a donation to PiH you will be helping to build the collection for the future, giving other hospitals the opportunity to benefit from the scheme in years to come.

Artist-Friend If you are an artist and would like to support the charity by making a donation to our collection we would be pleased to hear from you. Please note that donations will be subject to the same selection standards and criteria as works being purchased for the collection.

Collector-Contributor Many private and corporate collectors find that their collection has outgrown the available space, or else they simply want a change of scene. Making a gift or bequest to the Paintings in Hospitals Collection is an ideal way of relocating art works that you no longer have space for.

Legacy Giving Paintings in Hospitals is the ideal charity to name in your will if you have an interest in art or a collection of paintings that you would like others to enjoy after your lifetime. Through the work of Paintings in Hospitals your legacy will benefit many thousands of patients, including those in palliative care. Whether you choose to give works of art or a pecuniary gift, your contribution will be equally valuable to us.

Contribute to Your Community Your donation can pay for pictures for your local hospital. £1000 will pay for the hospital of your choice to have 20 works of art on loan from Paintings in Hospitals for the next two years.

Prints for Sale

To mark the 50th anniversary of the charity, Paintings in Hospitals is selling original artists’ prints (see below) by eight Royal Academicians. The funds raised from the sale of these prints will support the development of the charity and its arts in health activities.

Paintings in Hospitals is extremely grateful to all the artists who donated prints for this portfolio.
