Paintings in Hospitals recognises that climate change is a serious global problem. We are committed to minimising the impact we have on the environment and participate in the Smart Green Business initiative in London. We are ethical in our dealings and use products that are fairtrade, environmentally friendly or recyclable.

We are also taking steps to improve our environmental performance and energy efficiencies and aim to reduce our carbon footprint by 20% within 3 years from our current measured footprint of 18.1 tonnes of CO2. We recently received the Carbon Smart Blue certification as part of the Carbon Smart programme, run by the European Regional Development Fund.
